Nemokia Fur Trappers Society is for anyone interested in trapping and such. It will be centered in the area of Nebraska, Missouri, Kansas, and Iowa, hence the name. The Nemokia Fur Trappers Society is named from those four states and it is a non-profit organization. We want our club to be centered on trapping fundamentals, trapping history, education, camping, fun, mules, primitive life, car pooling to Rendezvous, etc. We want to leave the politics to the state organizations. We do not currently have membership dues, but instead rely on donations and funds generated at our rendezvous and fund raised by members.

NeMoKia Fur Trappers actively promotes using the safest, most humane and efficient traps through trapper education.
Each year NeMoKia holds Rendezvous similar to those of the mountain men of the past.
NeMoKia sponsors a number of events each year to improve leadership and communications skills among it's members, and frequently attends outdoor shows and schools to teach others about responsible conservation and wildlife management.
